The Thieves are a soccer supporters group in St. Louis, MO that focuses on supporting all the local soccer clubs in the St. Louis Region, with our heaviest focus on support for St. Louis CITY SC. But we’re not just here to enjoy soccer and cheer for our teams, The Thieves are here to help make St. Louis and the whole region a better place for marginalized communities.

The Thieves were created by, and for, members of marginalized groups that live outside the middle-class, cishet (cisgender and heterosexual) white male demographic that tends to dominate soccer supporters culture in the US. That includes the unhoused, those stuck in the justice system, military veterans, people with disabilities, people of color, women, and, most directly related to Pride, anyone who identifies as a member of the LGBTQIA+ community.

We have three main goals:

    1. Provide a safe and welcoming space for members of marginalized groups to enjoy the sport we all love.
    2. Hold those who do or say anything opposed to our first goal accountable for those words or actions.
    3. Support local organizations that work to help these marginalized groups both monetarily and through volunteering.

Currently, we are focused on our first year as an official, independent RSG, or Recognized Supporters Group, of St. Louis CITY SC; as well as continuing to expand and increase our hands-on volunteer and charitable efforts around the St. Louis area.

To keep up on what we are doing and for ways to get involved, make sure to follow us on our Social Media channels (@TheThievesSTL on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram) and here on this website.
